Labor Day Tennis Round Robin
Everyone is invited to come play tennis from 10am to noon at Twin Lakes before the Big Labor Day BBQ at the pool The Tennis Committee will provide Drinks and Balls (and courts will be reserved for the round robin).

New Times*** Tennis Clinics -Skill clinics with: Mikhail will continue Wednesdays.4:30 - 5:30 Juniors of all ages; and 6:30 - 7:30 Adults - $10 per person. - Jubril for AGES 11-17 are Tues and Thurs from 5:00 to 6 - $15 per person. Jubril is interested in teaching younger kids earlier on the same days so please e-mail Jubril if you are interested.

Junior boy’s ALTA team made it to the playoffs. Please congratulate them on a great season.

Men's A7 ALTA in the playoffs- Our men’s A7 ALTA not only qualified for the playoffs but made it to the City Finals. Please congratulate them on a great season.

New Rule Approved

The board recently passed a rule change that non-members who participate on our ALTA teams need only pay $25 per season if they are not participating in team practices. They will continue to pay $50 if they do participate in team practices.

On-Line Court Reservations

We are now using an online tennis court reservation system to:

  • Check court availability
  • Reserve Courts 1 or 2 for K-Swiss, T2 or ALTA/USTA make-up matches
  • Reserve Court 5 or 6 for paid coaching
  • ALTA and USTA captains can reserve courts for matches and for team practices
Instructions if you need to reserve a court or check availability:
  • Send an e-mail to Mark B. requesting a user ID and temporary password. Indicate in the e-mail whether you are a PLAYER and what team/teams, TEAM CAPTAIN, CO-CAPTAIN, K-SWISS, T2 or other league player.
  • You will receive your user ID and temporary password.
  • Use your internet browser to go to our Twin Lakes Court Reservation System.
  • Use your new User ID and temporary password to log in and create your new password.
  • Now you can use the system to reserve your court.
  • If you need help, try the help menu at the top of the page.
  • Please print the screen and post the reservation on the tennis kiosk at least 24 hrs. prior to reserved time.

REMINDERS:

  • Players need to sign up on the tennis kiosk before beginning play.
  • Please remember to pay the guest fee for any guests you bring to play tennis.
  • Squeegees, brooms and the score posts are stored in the tennis shed; your front gate key opens the lock. Please be sure to return items to the shed when you are finished.
  • Captains need to post their home matches on the tennis kiosk each season and email their rosters to the tennis committee. Captains need to be aware of the rules pertaining to team play as described in the Twin Lakes directory.
  • When rescheduling rained-out matches, players must check with the tennis committee ahead of time in order to reserve a court for the make-up match. The players must post the agreed upon date and time on the kiosk.
